Amateur Vs Professional Photography

Anyone can take a photo, however not everyone can take an ‘awesome’ photo. We appreciate that our clients are not professional photographers and so we can’t expect you to know the difference between a professional and an amateur.
Professionals ...

  1. up to 7 years experience
  2. know how to direct you for different poses
  3. have the latest technology camera and lenses for clear sharp images
  4. know how to achieve “the look” you are after
  5. have the right equipment for perfect lighting
  6. friendly and fun
  7. photo shoot location ideas
  8. know how to edit photos including special effects
  9. have heaps of products and ideas on what we can do with the photos

Investment

The amount you invest in your portrait photography is going to depend on several factors.

The first one is the photo shoot. Some clients would like photos at one location and other clients would like photos at multiple locations.

The second factor is the style of photo editing and the size of the photos.

The third factor is the way the photos are finished; framed or unframed, photos on canvas, portrait albums, mugs, t-shirts, animated slideshows with music, screen saver or you could have your favourite photo painted by our artists.
As it’s a creative process we usually start with the photo shoot and then once we have edited the photos we will all sit down together over a champagne or a latte and show you some unique and creative ideas of what we could do with your portrait photos.

Option

If you prefer we can make a time to sit down over a latte or a champagne and plan the photo shoot and we can chat about what you would like to achieve obligation free and at no charge. You'll need to allocate around 30 minutes to come in and see us. This is called a pre-portrait planning session. We'll go through photography samples then discuss everything from locations to clothing to (elaborate on other areas you wish to cover).
